Course Description
This course is intended to provide insight into the working of important and long-awaited central legislation in the field of real estate. This legislation, “The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 creates a level playing field between home buyers and real estate developers with the help of three authorities created under the Act, namely, Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Real Estate Regulatory Appellate Authority and Adjudication Officer. By joining this course one gets legal awareness as to how (1) the working of real estate developers and agents is sought to be controlled under law, (2) how the home buyers will stand protected from the onslaught of one-sided agreements drafted by the real estate developers and (3) what machinery has been provided for resolution of disputes between the home buyers and real estate developers. This working of this Act will benefit both and create a healthy national economy.
